I’m Diane, the founder of Simply MBA. 

I’ve edited MBA essays since 2011, when my friends were my first customers. My next clients came from Craigslist. Since then, I’ve had hundreds of clients get into essentially every major business school in the U.S. and Europe. A lot has changed since then, but my belief in the power of an essay to shape our fortunes is stronger than ever. 

I’m a graduate in English from Columbia University. I also have an MFA in fiction from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, the premier writing program in the U.S. Outside of essay editing, I’ve written for Fortune 100 companies including Microsoft, Ford, United Airlines, and American Airlines, as well as Etsy, Louis Vuitton, Adidas, Virgin Atlantic, and many others. The work is the same: Whether writing for top-tier corporate clients or editing your essays, my job is to help craft a true, compelling narrative.
